Production of the web series “Neel Kamal” based on the literary works of senior litterateur-writer SS Oberoi, which gives a social message.

New Delhi..Indian audiences have always loved films and serials based on literary works. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that literature, cinema, and television have always been inextricably linked. Now, web series have joined this trend. Soon, the audience will get to see the entertaining and socially message-giving web series “Neel Kamal” based on the literary works of senior litterateur-writer SS Oberoi on OTT, which has been directed by the famous producer-director Mr. Kesar Singh. Kesar Singh has previously produced and directed memorable serials based on Hindi and Punjabi literary works.

Produced under the banner of ‘Oberoi Studios’, the writer of this web series is the writer SS Oberoi, a well-known writer of Hindi, English, Punjabi and Urdu, who was born on 2 December 1936 in Rinala Khurd, District Mitgumri, Pakistan.After the partition of the country, he migrated with his family to Karnal, Haryana.He completed his intermediate education from Dyal Singh College, Karnal and Civil Engineering from Guru Nanak Engineering College in 1958. He worked in Bhakra Nangal from 1958 to 1962 and in Central Railway from 1962 to 1995 (retired).

He has published seven books so far. This popular new five-episode web series, “Neel Kamal,” is based on the social stories from those books. Which includes stories like ‘Minor’, ‘Boil’, ‘Coat Girl and Graveyard’, ‘Only Water’, and ‘Daily Wage’ etc.’Neel Kamal’ stars Megha Saxena, Manoj Kumar, Sanjay Punj, Lalit Goswami, Sunita Chauhan, Sabina Khan, Manisha Singh, Vishal Singh, Jatin Punj C.L. Balani, Bilal Khan, Manisha Sharma and Arun Kochhar.
