Former Governor Kalraj Mishra and Former Chief Justice of Madras High Court Inaugurate International Aviation & Drone Institute

International Aviation & Drone Institute news… A significant milestone in India’s aviation and drone technology sector was recorded today with the grand inauguration of the International Aviation & Drone Institute (IADI) located at Central Market, Deep Cinema Road, Ashok Vihar, New Delhi at the Constitution Club of India. The event saw a gathering of eminent dignitaries, industry stalwarts and aviation enthusiasts to celebrate a landmark initiative to empower youth and advance drone and aviation technologies.
The Chief Guest at the inauguration ceremony was Shri Kalraj Mishra, former Cabinet Minister and former Governor of Rajasthan, who brought with him vast experience and knowledge from decades of public service. He was also joined by Hon’ble Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari, former Chief Justice of Madras High Court and presently Chairman, Anti-Money Laundering Appellate Tribunal under SAFEM, who shared valuable insights on the regulatory landscape and legal frameworks of this emerging sector.
Dr. H.C. Ganeshia, Chief Patron of IADI, a renowned advocate and an influential figure in politics, society and academia in India and abroad, delivered a special address. Dr. Ganeshia highlighted the important role of institutions like IADI in shaping India’s future in aviation and drone innovation.
The event was graced by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder and Chancellor of AAFT, whose visionary contributions to education and creative industries will continue to inspire the next generation of professionals. The event was graced by Senior Pilot Anil Sharma (Retd), Captain Garima Ganeshia, the first woman pilot from Bharatpur, Rajasthan and Ms. Esther Noronha, who emphasized the growing role of women and youth in aviation and drone operations. The event was organized by a dedicated team comprising Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Pankaj Singh, Manuj Thakur, Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur (Senior Cabin Crew, Qatar Airways), Ms. Deepika Dhawan, Ms. Poonam Sethi and Rakesh Chhabra who ensured a smooth and impactful event.
An exciting highlight of the event was the presentation of several advanced drones by Sumit Sabharwal, Founder of A&S Creations and his dedicated team. A&S Creations has entered into a strategic collaboration with IADI to provide practical training and research opportunities to students in drone technology. All the dignitaries collectively appreciated the initiative and emphasized that the establishment of IADI is a significant leap towards modern skill development, which will provide excellent career opportunities to students and give a strong boost to technological advancement in the aviation and drone industry.
